Coast Guard rescues ill crew members from cargo ship

Authorities made the airlift Tuesday as Tropical Storm Arthur was gaining strength.
CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – The U.S. Coast Guard performed a rescue at sea Tuesday, airlifting more than a dozen crew members from a South Korean cargo ship.

Authorities say the crew possibly came down with food poisoning.

The decision to rescue the crew was made to airlift the sick crew members as Tropical Storm Arthur continued to gain strength off the Florida coast, making seas rougher.
