Chainsaw Carver Could Get Death

A man accused of killing his friend over a drug deal gone wrong and then, cutting up his body, could get the death penalty.
HAMILTON, JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Jefferson County District Attorney, Jeff Burkett, will seek the death penalty if Michael Shugars is convicted of killing Chet Haddow.

Police say Shugars shot Haddow during a drug deal gone wrong and later, cut up his body with a chainsaw. Court documents state body parts were found scattered throughout Jefferson and Indiana County.

It happened in September of 2013. Shugars remains in prison. His trial is set for later this year.
