Bowman Suffers Knee Injury in NFC Title Game

Former Penn State linebacker suffered a gruesome knee injury in the 4th quarter of Sunday's NFC championship game.
SEATTLE, WA - Former Penn State linebacker NaVorro Bowman suffered a gruesome knee injury in Sunday's NFC title loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

After the game, 49er coach Jim Harbaugh said he believed Bowman may have suffered a torn ACL.

The injury happened in the 4th quarter of the game, when Bowman attempted to recover a fumble by the Seahawks.  However, the referees gave the ball back to Seattle.

The Seahawks fumbled the ball to the 49ers on the drive, but the 49ers lost the game, 23-17.
