Boeing Unveils Self-Destructing Phone

The phone is meant for those who work for or with government agencies.
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – Details have emerged on a secure smartphone under development by Boeing which will self-destruct if it is tampered with.

Boeing said its Black phone is meant for people who work for or with government agencies in defense and homeland security.

The “self-destruct” feature isn’t quite as dramatic as it sounds; it simply erases all its data if someone tries to physically break into the phone.

The aerospace and defense company says the phone is loaded with other security features. It is expected to be out this summer, but no word on how much the phone will cost.
