Ali Ingersoll joined the WTAJ news team in March 2014 as a General Assignment reporter in the State College Bureau.

Ali joins the news team from Wausau, Wisconsin where she worked as the morning reporter and producer and fill-in weekend anchor. She is no stranger to WTAJ, though. She interned at the station in the summer of 2011 while she was working toward her undergraduate degrees at The Pennsylvania State University. Ali also interned with 20/20 and Primetime at ABC News in New York, 6abc in Philadelphia and 94.5PST in Princeton. While at Penn State, Ali anchored and reported for the Emmy Award winning newscast, The Centre County Report.

Ali graduated from Penn State with degrees in Broadcast Journalism, English and Communication Arts and Sciences. She is a passionate Nittany Lion fan and has traveled all over to support her alma mater’s teams. She is from outside Philadelphia and is a huge Eagles, Phillies and Flyers fan.

While Ali isn’t out on the latest story, she is usually enjoying iced coffee, tweeting, playing tennis or watching sports. She is thrilled to be back in Happy Valley and tell stories about a place she genuinely loves.
