A.J. Burnett Reportedly Agrees to Deal with Phillies

Burnett went 10-11 for the Pirates in 2013.
PITTSBURGH, ALLEGHENY COUNTY – Former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher A.J. Burnett has reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies.

According to our news partner KDKA, the deal is worth $16 million.

Burnett has spent the last two seasons with Pittsburgh. He went 10-11 for the Pirates in 2013, with a 3.30 ERA and 209 strikeouts.
