Corbett Apologizes For Another Gay Marriage Analogy

Gov. Tom Corbett compared gay marriage to siblings marrying.
HARRISBURG - Gov. Tom Corbett is apologizing for a second time about comments regarding gay marriage.

He compared the marriage of same-sex couples to a brother and sister wedding, during an appearance on WHP TV Friday morning.

"It was an inappropriate analogy, you know," Corbett said. "I think a much better analogy would have been brother and sister, don't you?"

In a legal filing in August, his attorneys compared gay marriage to two 12-year-olds getting married.

Corbett is addressing the media in a Friday afternoon press conference.
