Glosser Bros. Department Store was a staple of holiday shopping for many years in the Johnstown area. The big Christmas tree on the front corner of the building and holiday decorations in the windows created a magical place for many Johnstowners. Now you have the chance to rediscover the magic of Glosser’s with Robert’s latest book.

In “Christmas at Glosser’s,” step back in time to 1975 when eleven-year-old Jack is determined to find out where his grandfather runs off to every Christmas Eve. Jack’s journey takes him through Glosser Bros. at its most magical, but the magic takes an unexpected turn when he discovers his grandfather’s secret. Jack must take a stand that could cost him everything or bring him the greatest gift he can imagine.

An interesting note about the book cover: The man on the cover is the author’s actual grandfather, Ben Heinrich.

You can pick up your own copy of “Christmas at Glosser’s” at Books-A-Million, Barnes & Noble, Create Space, and Amazon. The e-book is also available at any branch of the Cambria County Library System.
