Cheesy-Cinnamon Sticks for Fido

Your dog will be thankful for you this Thanksgiving if you make up a batch of these! But don’t take our word for it, try it yourself!
Who says holiday baking should only be for people?  Why not include man’s best friend in all the fun?  Resident Doggy Chef Toni Duchi is here, with her recipe for “Cheesy Cinnamon Twists”.
 
Your dog will be thankful for you this Thanksgiving if you make up a batch of these!  But don’t take our word for it, try it yourself!
 
Cheesy-Cinnamon Twists
2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup water
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
cinnamon
 
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In large glass bowl, mix flour, water, cornmeal and beaten egg until the mixture is sticky.
- Get those hands in there and divide the dough into tennis-ball-sized globs.
- Roll out individual dough balls into long thin sheets.
- Cut to desired width with a knife.
- Sprinkle with cheese and cinnamon.
- Twist each one and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Refrigerate.
