FLORHAM PARK, NEW JERSEY - Wide receiver Plaxico Burress has decided to stay in New York, but he now will be catching passes for the Jets.

Burress chose the Jets over his former teams, the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.
  
Burress was released from prison on June 6th after serving 20 months for a gun charge.
  
Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg at a nightclub in November 2008 and had been out of the NFL since.
  
Burress caught the winning touchdown pass when the Giants beat the previously-undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl 42.
