Bomb Threat Investigation Begins

Suspect who emailed bomb threat could face multiple charges.
HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY - "I've never experienced anything like that since I worked here," said Wendy Long, a human resources worker at the Blair County Courthouse. "It could be something serious... you just don't know."

Long is referring to the bomb threat made against the courthouse Wednesday evening.

At one point the State College Bomb Squad was called in after the Blair County bomb sniffing dog detected something.

No bomb or explosive device was found, but now investigators are looking for the individual who sent the email.

Blair County District Attorney Richard Consiglio said whomever made the threats could face multiple charges ranging from making terroristic threats to public endangerment.

WTAJ News was the recipient of the email making the bomb threat on Wednesday.

Immediately after receiving the email WTAJ News informed law enforcement.
