It's been one week since Joe Paterno's passing and fans continue to flock to State College to pay their respects to the football legend. One popular spot for visitors has been the Joe Paterno statue at Beaver Stadium.

Folks today brought even more stuff to add to the display. We talked to a cheerleading instructor from Virginia who wanted to stop by with her squad. "It's actually more emotional than I had expected to be here and actually see it, it's different than when you see it in pictures, when you are actually here, it's very moving to see all of the support," Kelly Brady, a Penn State Alum said.
"I think it really shows how many people he actually affected and touched through his life that a week later there is still a huge crowd and traffic still disrupted all around it," Tiff Kalejta, a current Penn State student said.
Penn state's department of public information says some of the gifts may be archived. But nothing has been confirmed.
