HUNTINGDON - The Huntingdon Bearcats lost an overtime heartbreaker after the Mount Union Trojans clawed their way to a 4th quarter comeback.
Huntingdon climbed to a 20-6 lead, thanks to touchdowns on a 53 yard interception return by Jon Wagner, a one yard run by Mitchell Lauer, and a 70 yard run by Devon Claar.
But Mount Union's BJ Loner scored a rushing touchdown with less than 12 minutes left. Then, six minutes later, Loner scored again, this time on a 14 yard pass from Trevon Walker. That made it 20-20. In overtime, Loner completed the comeback win, with a 15 yard run.
The Bearcats will look for their first win of the season next week in Bellefonte.
