WTAJ To Broadcast EL All-Star Game

ALTOONA – WTAJ Your News Leader is proud to team up with the Altoona Curve to broadcast the 2014 Eastern League All-Star Clash presented by UPMC Health Plan live.  The exclusive broadcast will give baseball fans in our area the chance to watch future big leaguers right in their back yard. The Eastern League All-Star Clash will take place at Peoples Natural Gas Field on Wednesday, July 16, 2014.  The all-star game returns to Altoona for the first time since 2006.

The game itself features the best talent from both the Eastern and Western divisions of the Eastern League and some of the brightest stars in all of Minor League Baseball.  Recent participants include: Pirates left fielder Starling Marte and Phillies first baseman Darin Ruf.
