ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Stetson Allie had to wait through the rain just like the rest of the Altoona Cuvre on Friday.  He's a little more eager though to get things underway.

The former 2010 2nd round pick of the Pirates will be making his AA debut when the Curve eventually hit the field against the Erie Seawolves.

Allie, who was once a highly touted pitching prospect switched to a position player during the 2012 season.

in 2013 he hit .324 with 17 home runs and 61 RBI's in 66 games in Low-A.  His numbers then dropped significantly as he moved to High-A Bradenton.  Allie hit .229 with only 4 home runs and 25 RBI's in 66 games with the Marauders.
