ALTOONA - Rains began in Curve, Pa. around 5 p.m. and never ceased, postponing the final two games of the series between the Curve and Portland Sea Dogs. Since it was the last two times the teams played in Altoona this season, the games will now be made up in Portland when the Curve go up there as part of their upcoming road trip. They’ll pick up the suspended game on Friday, June 20 and then the lost game from tonight on Saturday, June 21.

The Curve homestand continues at 7 p.m. Friday night when the Reading Fightin Phils come to town for the first of three games.

On the hill for the Curve on Friday night will be LHP Zack Dodson (1-3, 4.00), who makes his first career start against the Fightins. He’ll be opposed by Reading lefty Hoby Milner (4-3, 3.60) on Friday night.
