Woman with Mental Health Issues Still Missing

BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY - Susan Bachman, 37, from Julian, Centre County suffers from mental health issues. On Friday, her family was taking her to a Clarion facility when she jumped from the moving car along Interstate 80 near the Brookville exit.

Her dad stopped the car, her mother got out and they started to search, but she had already disappeared into the woods.

Around 9:00am Friday, Greg Bazlak, who lives along Maplevale Road in Brookville, saw Bachman running from his barn. At the time, he did not know why she was running.

A five hour search was conducted and then, called off Friday.

Monday, the family gave it one more try. They asked for assistance and over 40 people showed up to help search the Brookvilel area. The family said they felt if she was hurt, when she jumped, she maybe in danger. they also said since it has been 72 hours, they worry she is dehydrated.

There were a few possible sightings, but by 5:30pm Monday, Bachman had not been found.
