Woman Sentenced For Stealing $140,000 From Father-In-Law

51-year-old Jennifer Day was sentenced to prison for stealing more than 100-thousand dollars from her father-in-law.

Back in 2009, her father-in-law, who had dementia, was placed into an assisted living home.

Around the same time, Day broke into his house and took about $140,000 dollars in cash.
The Bellefonte woman used the money to buy five vehicles, including one for each of her children.

She also bought electronics, two snow blowers, a lawn mower, and other items.

She was was sentenced to 10 to 23 months in the Centre County Jail, followed by three years of probation.
