Woman Accused of Fake Kidnapping Waives Charges

EBENSBURG, CAMBRIA COUNTY - A woman accused of making a false kidnapping call to 911 is out of jail.
 
Kelly Miller was in court Tuesday for her preliminary hearing. She waived all charges to county court. The judge also changed her bond to unsecured.
 
Miller was arrested in Altoona last week after calling Cambria County 911 saying she was kidnapped. It happened on Route 22 in Cambria Township.
 
Police say she used an phone not in service so they has a hard time tracing it, but eventually caught her after Altoona Police were called to her home several times.
 
She admitted to calling 911 saying she was abducted.
