Welfare check leads to arrests

RIDDLESBURG, BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. - A welfare check leads to the discovery of a meth lab in Bedford County.

State Police say they received a request to check on a 12-year old girl living in the Riddlesburg home. When Police arrived, Lisa Pounds and Sterol Knechtel allowed them to search it.

Both women were arrested after police found items consistent with making meth. The women are facing drug and child endangerment charges.
