Veterans raise money for police K-9's care

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY – The Catholic War Vets presented a check for $1,200 Tuesday for a Blair County K-9’s care.

The presentation happened during Tuesday evening's meeting of Blair County Neighborhood Watch.

Lily has been working with the Blair County Sheriff’s Department as a bomb-sniffing dog for about a year. The department has held several fundraisers to raise money for Lily’s care.
