Vape Vibe owner reacts to recent burglary

Altoona, Pa. - Surveillance video shows two suspects breaking into the Vape Vibe in Altoona early Saturday morning.

The two shattered the glass on the door to get inside. They then jumped over the counter, headed for the shelves, threw items into their bags, and took off before police even arrived.

Holly Loupe is one of the owners. She said they were out in less than a minute.

"They knew what they were going to do and how they were going to do it," Loupe told us.

The last couple of days have been spent counting inventory and replacing the stolen items.

We're told the suspects got away with more than $2,000 worth of products. Nothing else was damaged.

"It was just strange," Justin Durr, an employee at Vape Vibe Altoona, said. "No money was involved, not an extreme duffel bag situation to where they're going across the shelf and shoving it in, they just took key items and one to two of them, it was weird."

Store owners said nothing of this extent has ever happened in their 5-years of business.

They're now working with police to find whoever is responsible for this brazen burglary. They hope someone recognizes the people in the surveillance video.

"They seem like kids to me," Loupe explained. "Probably around 18-24."

We're told the security cameras from surrounding businesses will be checked.
