BROCKWAY, JEFFERSON COUNTY - One man is dead, another is in jail and a State Trooper is in the hospital.

Trooper First Class Bradley Wilson is still recovering at a Pittsburgh hospital after he was shot serving a drug warrant in Jefferson County. Trooper Wilson served for 24 years. He’s currently out of the DuBois barracks.

According to their search warrant police found meth making materials in Kenneth Lees’ trash. State Police and Jefferson County Drug Task Force officials tried to serve a warrant to search at his home on Cemetery Road in Brockway Thursday afternoon.

Police say 60 year old Kenneth Lees Senior shot Trooper Bradley Wilson twice, once in the neck and once in the collar bone.

Police officers returned fire and got Wilson to safety and medical help.

Police surrounded the home for nearly 12 hours before busting in the home. They found Kenneth Lees Senior dead, police say he shot himself.

Police continued their investigation Friday, but Trooper Wilson is still on their minds.
