Two People Injured in Crash

PORTER TOWNSHIP, HUNTINGDON COUNTY - Two people were injured after two cars collided.

It happened at 8:30 Thursday morning at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 305 in Alexandria.

State Police say 18-year-old Haley Myers was making a left turn onto Route 305 when she turned into the path of another car.

The driver 49-year-old Debra Cooley and passenger 66-year-old Thelma Cooley were both injured.

They were in the other car.

Both were taken to UPMC Altoona. Neither one was wearing there seat belt.

The Juniata Valley School Superintendent says Myers is a student at the school and was on her way to graduation practice.

Myers was wearing her seat belt.  She wasn't injured.
