FOX TOWNSHIP, ELK COUNTY – Police are investigating the cause of an early Tuesday morning crash which sent two people to the hospital.

According to State Police, a 1995 Jeep Wrangler being driven by 20-year-old Justis Myers of Wilcox failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection of Skyline Drive and Chicken Hill Road around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Jeep rolled over and Myers was partially ejected and pinned under the roll cage. Witnesses to the crash were able to lift the vehicle off Myers and drag her out from under it.

Myers and her passenger, 21-year-old Taylor Harvey of Wilcox, were taken to Penn Highlands Elk. Myers was later flown to UPMC Altoona for treatment.
