PUNXSUTAWNEY, JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Jackson Theater in Punxsutawney will stay open! They have received the funds needed to go digital. The board thanks everyone who contributed. They say the clubs in town where amazing, the schools that helped were great, they thank Fox's Pizza for their fundraisers and thank XTO Energy in Warrendale, Pennsylvania for getting them started by donating $20,000.  With all of this help they were able to raise the $70,000. They plan to install the projector in a few months.

Other theaters are still trying to raise the money needed. The Save the Ritz Campaign in Clearfield has raised enough for one projector, but needs two and the Super 322 is hosted a benefit at the Eagle's Club in Clearfield on February 28, to raise money for their fund.
