UNIVERSITY PARK - There was a pretty special scene at the Bryce Jordan Center Sunday afternoon.

Thousands of fans wearing "Team Ream" t-shirts as part of the first Team Ream Day at the BJC. The event is to honor the legacy of State College High graduate and former Penn State Football players Brandon ream who died last fall after a battle with cancer. A portion of the ticket proceeds went to the Team Ream Foundation, set up to help local families affected by the disease.

"Hopefully we can all come together and make this an annual event and move forward to make sure that we have all the funding and we can take care of all the kids in the region and the family and Brandon would be very much proud of this. Very much," Brandon's father Gary Ream says.

Friends of the Ream Family agreed to match every dollar earned up to $30,000 from the game.
