BROOKVILLE, JEFFERSON COUNTY- The Brookville Lumberjacks Youth Football Program is saying Thank You after, their spaghetti dinner and auction fundraiser was a big success.

The program says they were able to raise nearly $6,000 which will go a long way toward tackling their debt and ensuring the kids can have a season.

The program was in jeopardy after someone stole $25,000 worth of equipment from them last year. The investigation into the theft is on-going. In the mist of it, police say they found out Shannon Wolfe, the program's former treasurer, allegedly stole nearly $2,5000 from the team.

She waived her preliminary hearing last month.
