Suspect Interviewed in Attempted Child Luring

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP, CLINTON COUNTY – State Police announced Thursday they have interviewed the suspect in a child luring case, but the case remains under investigation.

According to police, the suspect asked three juveniles if they wanted a ride around 6 p.m. October 9th near the Castanea Fire Hall on South Hanna Street. The juveniles took off running with the suspect driving behind them in his vehicle for a short distance.

The incident was not reported to police until October 16th. The suspect was interviewed by State Police from the Lamar Barracks. Police say the incident is still under investigation.
