State Police collecting unwanted, expired prescription drugs

HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY –State Police will accept unwanted, expired and unused prescription drugs on Saturday, April 26th as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Unwanted prescription medications may be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the following locations within Troop G:
  • Hollidaysburg Station – 1510 N. Juniata Street, Hollidaysburg
  • Bedford Station – 171 Arthur Hershey Drive, Bedford
  • Huntindgon Station – 10637 Raystown Road, Huntingdon
  • Lewistown Station – 34 Arch Rock Road, Mifflintown
  • McConnellsburg Station – 23170 Great Cove Road, McConnellsburg
  • Rockview Station – 745 South Eagle Valley Road, Bellefonte
  • Philipsburg – Weis Market – 501 North Third Street, Philipsburg
The last National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in October 2013 resulted in 584 pounds of unwanted or expired prescription medications being dropped off at the above locations.
