State misses February revenue mark

HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN COUNTY – Pennsylvania collected $1.6 billion in general fund revenue in February, 2.1 percent less than expected.

Year-to-date general fund collections total $16.3 billion, which is below the state’s estimates.

Sales and personal income tax collections are down so far this year, but corporation tax revenue is up about 5.7 percent above estimates.
