HARRISBURG – The Corbett administration has announced it will not appeal Pennsylvania’s voter ID law to the State Supreme Court after a Commonwealth Court ruled against the law.

A spokesperson for Governor Corbett said he must remain focused on passing a budget and addressing other ongoing legislative priorities, namely his tough reelection battle.

In early 2014, a Commonwealth Court judge said he would not reconsider his ruling against the voter ID law.
