TIPTON, BLAIR COUNTY - A bridge that's been under construction since March officially reopened to traffic on Friday.

The bridge is one of two heavily traveled bridges near DelGrosso's amusement park that's been renovated in the last two years.

Now both bridges leading to the entrance of the popular amusement park on Old Route 220 are completely renovated and open.

DelGrosso's Amusement Park Carl Crider said many of his employees are pleased with the bridge re-open.

"I think there was a collective sigh," Crider said. "Everyone was texting and very excited."

Both entrances to the park are open for traffic just in time for Harvest Fest, which runs from Saturday through Sunday and opens on both days at 10am.
