ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Congressman Bill Shuster won his re-election campaign for the Republican Primary in the 9th Congressional District.
Shuster thanked his family for their support, his constituents for voting for him, and his opponents for caring enough about their district to run for office.
He acknowledged a lot of people are frustrated with the lack of progress in Washington. And he said he is too, but he plans to continue to work for his district to make those changes.
Shuster will now face Democrat Alana Hartzock from Franklin County in the Fall.
