Salvation Army coat drive in Dubois in need of Children's items

DuBois, Clearfield County, Pa. - As the weather weather is quickly approaching, the Salvation Army in DuBois is looking for coats to give out to those in need.

The group will take any coats, scarves, or mittens both new or used to make available during their annual coat drive.
Anyone who needs help staying warm can stop by the Salvation Army throughout the winter season and pick one out that they like.

"Coming in and being able to go through and look and pick, and say "oh i like this one better, this is what i like" or "this is my size it fits better" having that sense of being able to pick out your own, not being forced to take something," Explains core officer Ashley Luzader.

The group says they're especially lacking in childrens coats. Donations are accepted anytime of year, right at the Salvation Army located on South Jared Street in Dubois. Drop-offs are also accepted at Joe's Tux  Shop in Dubois.
