COALDALE, BEDFORD COUNTY – Nearly 300 residents will have to boil water for another month.

Coaldale and Six Mile Run have been under a boil water advisory since February when the roof on the water treatment plant caved in.

Ken Foster, who operates the water corporation, says he’s waiting for a permit to allow repair work to begin. He hopes to begin reconstructing the building next week, and then thawing out the system’s filters.

Right now they are trucking in water for the 280 people affected.

Foster says he hopes to have the water system back in service by April 11th.
