SOMERSET – Police have arrested a 26-year-old man they say escaped from SCI Greene in early May after allegedly faking a heart attack.

Chad Adam Flick was taken into custody without incident Wednesday morning at an apartment at 800 E. Main Street after police responded to a tip. Flick was briefly held at the Somerset Borough Police station before being turned over to agents from the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole.

Flick was transported from SCI Greene to Southwest Regional Medical Center in Franklin Township, Greene County May 3rd after allegedly having a heart attack. As Flick was being escorted from the facility shortly before 5 p.m., he fled from a security officer shortly before and into a wooded area north of the hospital.
