Predominately Jewish Fraternity Target of Anti-Semitic Vandalism

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - Police are investigating after a number of cars are vandalized with anti-Semitic slogans.

State College Police say 12 vehicles parked at the rear of Delta Sigma Phi and Beta Sigma Beta fraternities, at the 400 and 500 blocks of Berry Alley in State College, were vandalized Thursday night or early Friday morning.

Police say the cars were spray painted with anti-Semitic slogans, swastikas, sexual pictures and sexual phrases. They say many of the derogatory remarks were targeted toward the Beta Sigma Beta fraternity.

A garage and dumpster in the area were also spray painted with similar graffiti.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the case should call State College Police at 814-234-7150 or submit an anonymous tip through their website.

Police are offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the crimes.
