Johnstown Police said Craddock and Lattimer went to a home along Thomas Avenue to trade a gun for marijuana. According to the criminal complaint, Craddock allegedly opened fire on the homeowner and took off.
“'We received a call of the two individuals that matched the description of suspects to be armed and threatening people a few blocks away,” said Chief Craig Foust.
When police arrived they ran inside. Craddock came out of the house, but Lattimer refused prompting a police standoff.
“We called in the County SERT team,” said Foust. “It was for the safety of the public and the officers.”
After several hours Lattimer did surrender to police. A loaded shot gun was found inside of the home the same one police believe Craddock used to shoot the victim.
Foust said additional charges are pending in the case.
