PENN STATE, UNIVERSITY PARK - Penn State Police are already urging folks to use extra caution this holiday season.

University Police say faculty and staff should secure money and valuables before leaving offices during any upcoming holiday breaks.

Police also advise students to make sure dorms and on-and-off campus housing are locked and secure before leaving.

In recent years, police say they've seen offices with cash and other smaller electronic devices being targeted while classes are not in session.
