BRADFORD TOWNSHIP, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - State Police released the name of a teenager who drowned in the West Branch of the Susquehanna.

Dive teams found Nathaniel Logan’s body near the dam where the water is over 30 feet deep.

Teams from two counties, multiple boat crews and dozens of fire departments searched the waters for about 12 hours starting late Sunday night.

Officials say three teenagers including 18 year old Logan from Clearfield were fishing and went for a swim in the river. But only two of them made it to the shore. This is the first drowning here in over a decade.

The coroner is performing an autopsy and the State Police are investigating the drowning.
