Police investigating possible overdose death

JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY - A woman is dead after what officials believe was a drug overdose in Cambria County.

According to dispatch, that woman was found unresponsive near the Sheetz along Central Avenue in Johnstown just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.

The Tribune Democrat is reporting a Johnstown man was arrested in connection with his girlfriend’s death.

Bryant Shue is charged with tampering with evidence and drug charges and failure to call for help.

Emergency officials tried to revive her with Narcan and CPR, but were unsuccessful.

The county coroner is working to determine exactly how she died.
