Police Investigating Hit & Run on Turnpike

BEDFORD, BEDFORD COUNTY – State Police at Everett are investigating a Saturday hit and run on the Pennsylvania Turnpike involving a tractor-trailer.

According to state police, a Cadillac with four people inside, including two children, was traveling west on the turnpike in the right lane around 11:15 Saturday morning when a tractor trailer in the left lane struck the left rear portion of the Cadillac with the right front portion of the tractor trailer.

Police say the tractor-trailer did not stop after the accident and exited the turnpike at the Bedford Interchange, continuing in an unknown direction

No one in the Cadillac was injured. State Police are continuing their investigation.
