A barn fire Monday night, an apartment fire just 24 hours later suspect and a suspect, Bryan Flickinger, 23, is facing charges for the most recent fire.
Police are now investigating whether the two are related.
"If it’s in a relatively short period of time and we're seeing fires in a general location, sure we're going to see whether they are or they are not connected," said Pennsylvania State Trooper Jeff Petrucci.
As police continue to investigate the fire at Greenfield Apartments, they're also looking into a possibility of a connection to the fires that happened just minutes away, months ago.
"I can't really go into too much detail into those, but there is a further investigation being conducted on these previous fires and to see if maybe they can be linked,” said Officer Andrew Young of the Greenfield Township Police Department. “We're not 100% sure yet, there's a further investigation to be done."
Those previous fires Officer Young is referring to are three separate ones that happened over what neighbors say was a six to eight month period when the suspect lived in a house on Pine Hollow Road.
That same neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said it makes you wonder after you see a number of fires happening in the same area.
"There's lot a different ways fires can start, and those would be determined accidental and others are categorized as arson," said Trooper Petrucci.
The State Police Fire Marshall is investigating both fires from this week.
Police did say they do expect additional charges to be filed in the not so distant future.
