DUBOIS, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - Firehouse Pizzeria opened at 338 W. Long Avenue in DuBois with the goal of bringing awareness to local volunteer companies.

The shop is owned by Jim and Geni Whited. Jim has been a volunteer for 33 years and the couple used his experience as inspiration. They say they want to start a program to raise funds for local departments and they have a retired ambulance they are using to take pizza and water to big fire scenes the firefighters get stuck at for hours.

For their ribbon cutting, many of the local departments attended and shared their excitement about the new business.

The Pizzeria has pizza, stromboli, pasta, sandwiches and they have a buffet!
