Pharmacy Robbery Suspect Arrested

BELLEFONTE, CENTRE COUNTY – Police arrested a 31-year-old man suspected in the armed robbery of the Parrish Apothecary Shop late Friday morning.

According to police, Joshua Fagan was arrested shortly before 11 a.m. approximately 1/4 mile away from the pharmacy located along North Allegheny Street.

Fagan allegedly entered the drug store, showed a handgun and requested a narcotic. After the manager told Fagan he did not have what he was asking for, he allegedly chambered a round, pointed the weapon at employees and accused the manager of lying.

According to police he then requested two more types of narcotics. When the manager told him he did not have those items either, Fagan left on foot.

Police recovered a loaded Glock 9mm handgun and several other items belonging to the suspect approximately 75 yards from the site of the robbery.

Joshua Fagan has been charged with Armed Robbery and other related charges.
