STATE COLLEGE - A man in State College is working toward shattering a world record for the longest stationary wheelie  in a wheel chair.

As of 4:35 am on Wednesday morning 23-year-old Ross Holland has held a wheelie for a total of 39 hours.

Holland has been in and out of a wheel chair for the last 20 years.

He says balancing on a wheelie for 10 hours, which was the previous record, was easy for him.

He passed that record Monday night, but he's still in the Hub at Penn State awake and on a wheelie.

The Penn State senior says he plans to keep it up until he falls asleep, or for 72 hours, whichever happens first.
