Penn State Campus Police Investigating Alleged Rape

PENN STATE, UNIVERSITY PARK - Penn State Police are investigating an alleged rape on campus.

University Police say a student reported being raped along West College Avenue, south of Hammond Building, between 2 and 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say it was reported the victim was sexually assaulted by a male, believed to be known to the victim.

Police remind everyone in the university community to never walk alone and to immediately report anything suspicious to campus security.
