HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY – Students were evacuated from a wing of Hollidaysburg Area High School Wednesday morning after a student made a bomb threat.

According to Superintendent Robert Gildea the threat was found to be unsubstantiated, but precautions were taken to ensure safety. Students were moved away from one section of the high school while it was searched.

Administrators said they have spoken to the student responsible. They said the student admitted to making the threat, but claimed to be joking.
