Nine Chickens Killed By Dogs

SHADE TOWNSHIP, SOMERSET COUNTY - State Police are looking for help after they say 9 chickens were killed by two dogs.

The incident happened Thursday evening along Rock Cut Road in Shade Township. State Police say two pit bulls caused damage to chicken wire in the coop and then killed nine chickens in the pen. They say one dog was grey and white. The other was brown and white. The dogs did have collars, but they ran off before police arrived. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police.
